Some of the group departed from the hotel after breakfast with a private driver for a day tour that included a close-up look at Mount Etna (the largest & most active volcano in Europe!) & a wine tasting.
Others traveled into Taormina city center to visit the spectacular Greek/Roman theatre, with its own views of the volcano.
For everybody there was time to relax in the afternoon - whether at the pool or on the beach.
This evening some folks revisited the theatre for a free public concert, then regrouped afterwards fro dinner.
