Our small group arrived right on schedule into Palermo's Falcone-Borsellino Airport, after 3 flights from Washington D.C, via Paris & Milan.
After a short drive into the city center we checked-in to our hotel. There was time to freshen-up & grab a quick lunch, then we regrouped for a casual walking tour of the neighborhoods around our hotel, both in the modern city & the medieval quarters.
We rendezvoused again this evening for our group dinner in a local restaurant, followed by our first gelato of the tour. A good way to end a good day.
